Our Business Development Process
1. Discovery & Strategy Session
We begin with a consultation to understand your brand, clientele, menu, and brewing equipment. What is the desired customer experience?
2. Profile Development & Bench Tasting
Our roasters craft 2-3 unique prototype blends based on our discovery. We schedule a bench tasting (virtual or in-person) where you sample, compare, and provide detailed feedback.
3. Equipment-Specific Optimization
We fine-tune the winning blend and roast profile to perform perfectly on your specific espresso machine, batch brewer, or pour-over setup.
4. Final Production & Packaging Approval
We produce a final pilot batch for your full approval. You sign off on the coffee profile and the custom packaging design.
5. Reliable Bulk Roasting & Delivery
Your proprietary recipe is logged in our system for consistent, on-demand production. We schedule reliable bulk deliveries to keep you fully stocked.


Service & Pricing Framework
· Wholesale Development Fee: $150
This one-time fee covers the consultative process, expert roast development, and multiple test batches. It is fully credited toward your first bulk order.
· Minimum Bulk Order: 25 kg
Once your blend is finalised, the minimum recurring order quantity is 25 kg. This ensures quality consistency and cost-effectiveness for both parties.
· Custom Packaging & Labeling: Available
Make it unmistakably yours. Choose from:
· Bulk Bags: 1kg or 2.5kg foil bags with your custom logo and blend name for kitchen/barista use.
· Retail Bags: Sell your blend directly. We offer design services and professional bagging in sizes from 250g to 1kg.
· Private Label: Complete white-label service. Your brand, your story, our expert craftsmanship.
· Pricing:
Final wholesale pricing per kg is determined by the green coffee origins selected for your blend and your ongoing volume. We provide transparent quotes before development begins.

Q: How long does the development process take?
A: From initial briefing to final approved blend, typically 3-5 weeks.
Q: Do you offer exclusivity?
A: Yes. When you develop a proprietary blend with us, we contractually agree that it will never be sold to another business. It is yours alone.
Q: Can you replicate an existing coffee we love?
A: We cannot directly copy another roaster's protected work. However, we can use it as a style guide or "north star" to craft a unique blend that captures the characteristics you admire.
Q: What are your lead times for ongoing orders?
A: For standing orders, we require 7 days' notice for roasting, packing, and shipping. We work with you to forecast needs and ensure you never run out.

Kanto Coffee Madagascar: Harvest & Availability
Our Madagascar harvest takes place annually from May through August. The first fresh-crop containers become available for export starting in September.
We actively cup new-season samples throughout the harvest period to ensure optimal quality. For guaranteed volume or to secure early lots, we encourage you to contact us for pre-booking inquiries.
